Good to see everyone voting. Interesting how nobody thinks I should keep my job... But today is docket day (as will be the next 6), so I don't mind it too much. I just have to do some real work before the mail gets here. I usually have the mail in and out by noon, so that's my crunch time, and I spend the rest of the afternoon entering things into the calendar and praying I don't screw up. The last thing I want is ol' CDC in my office telling me I fubared something for him.
It's Thursday, and you know what that means: Weigh in. Let's talk about how UN-excited I am. I realized that I managed to undo 5 weeks of hard work in, oh, 3 DAYS!!! So it's back to counting points, drinking water, and lifting weights. 'Cause I don't care how many times I hear that I'm sexy or looking skinny or whatever... I still look at my ass in the mirror and think "Thanks, mom."
And now for some current events: I was wondering if Paris or New York had gotten the Olympics, would there have been transit attacks there, or was London just lucky? Either way, I'm not going to be too terribly excited about riding the Metro anytime soon. But to quote Strictly Ballroom, "A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
